When a roof has had its day, we strip the old one, lay a new membrane and battens and cover it with tiles or sheets of your choice.

If the tiles are still good, they can often be reused. We take them down, replace the membrane and battens and put the tiles back in place.

Survey

We look over the roof with you and check the tiles, membrane, battens, flashings and ventilation. You get an honest view of what needs doing now and what can wait.
Quote and plan

You get a written quote with the materials and a schedule, so you know what the job covers before we start.
Strip and membrane

We take off the old roof, replace damaged timber and lay a new membrane and battens. The roof is covered when needed, so the house stays dry throughout.
Tiling and flashings

The roof is covered with tiles or sheets. Flashings around the chimney, roof windows and verges are made and fitted on site.
Handover

We clean up after ourselves and go through the job with you, so you know what has been done and how to look after the roof.

Why re-roof in good time?

You avoid damp damage

A small leak can rot battens and rafters long before it shows inside. The sooner it is found, the easier it is to fix.
Sound tiles can be reused

If the tiles are in good condition, we put them back on a new membrane. That saves money and is better for the environment than throwing them away.
Everything can be done at once

Snow guards, a roof ladder and new flashings can be fitted while the scaffolding is up, instead of becoming separate jobs later.
